Fits 2016-2020 all polaris generals including the general xp, can be installed in the front or rear of a general 4. (mounting in the front of a g4 requires optional mount.)
A budget priced center seat for the polaris general. We designed this seat with a price point in mind, it is a very simplified version of our deluxe version seat. Seat has a flat back not molded like our deluxe version, and has no colored inserts on the outer edge, but does have a color matched shield in the top. Hinged seat base is molded ABS similar to the base used on our deluxe seat. We use the same premium 4 way stretch vinyl on this seat as we do on our deluxe seat, along with the same seat foam. This seat cost about the same to produce as our deluxe seat but takes 3 hours less time to build than the deluxe version, allowing us to sell if for much less.
NOTE: While this seat works fine with children under 40 pounds it does not give the same amount of side support that the deluxe version does. With larger children you wont notice much difference. Seat will comfortably hold up to a 100 pound person.
We DO NOT include seatbelts/harness with this seat, it is the customers responsibility to decide if this product is safe for their passengers and to install the needed belt/harness for their passengers. We are happy to help you with what we have found to work for belts/harness and their mounting but cannot guaranty the safety of such installs and use.
Please look closely when choosing seat color options many color options now available, notice the two orange options have different stitching colors, shoulder color options do not apply to economy seats.

Excellent Service and Perfect Fit
We recently installed this seat in our 2021 General XP 4 Deluxe. It was a quick and easy install thanks to the easy to follow instructions posted on the MountainFitHoods website. I had several questions about the seat prior to ordering and decided to call the number on the website. I was greeted by a friendly voice with a wealth of information and he made my decision easy! Great company to work with, excellent, sturdy seat. I would highly recommend doing business with MFH!

I’ve never wrote a review on anything before, but product support for this product was the best I’ve ever experienced. Messaged the seller late on a week night with some questions about installation expecting a reply the next day but received a detailed reply with pictures shortly after. And for the money, this seat is absolutely perfect.

Just what we were looking for.
We bought this seat so our dog( yes, I know)would have spot to ride. It was easy to install. Came in a timely manner. I love that we didn’t lose access to our middle storage box, like we would have if we had gone with a regular bump seat. Looks great installed.
