Polaris General Center Seat Install overview

Quick over view of installing our general center seat.

 You will find it easier to do if you remove factory seats first.

 Using the pliers found in your factory tool kit remove the push pin fasteners on each side of the center console.

  Open center console and remove two push pin fasteners found under console lid.

  With a push/twist motion remove the console lid.

  With the console lid removed, install seat base onto the factory console (teeth/Hinge).

 Reinstall the pushpin fasteners under lid, and on side of center console.

Now for the seat back.

 We now include a vinyl sticker as a template, if not using the template you can install the supplied screws into the seat back, then place a small amount of whiteout/paint onto the head of each screw. Hold the seat back inplace and center it over the seat base, press the seat back onto the firewall. This will leave a small amount of paint behind marking where you need to drill.

 If using the vinyl template mark the center of the area above the seat base. We use a measuring tape between the molded area on the firewall.

 Install the vinyl template, using the center mark on the template, and resting the bottom edge on the lip of the molded area on the firewall.

 Drill a 3/8 hole at each of the center points indicated on the template, being careful not to drill any further then needed, you don't want to hit anything behind the firewall, don't worry theirs not really anything close to hit.

 Now install seat using the supplied screws, lock washers and fender washers. Leave finger tight, reinstall the factory seats, adjust the center seat, and then tighten the seat screws.

 Seat harness: although we do not include a harness one needs to be installed.  We send a set of adjusters to aid in installing a 4 point harness. The seat is designed to use a 2'' wide harness. In order to pass the strap through the shoulder slots in the seat most harness will need to have the mounting tabs removed. The included adjusters will allow you to reinstall the mounting tabs, and adjust the length of the belt.   (see pics)
