First off we would like to state we do not feel that using a resistor on 2013-2014 pro is necessary, polaris did change to a single voltage regulator in 2013 which did cause some concern as to opening up the chance that the ecu could see a voltage spike if the voltage regulator fails. We have not seen this come into play as a result of not running headlights.
Many customers have wanted a added sence of protection, this kit fills that need, the resistor replaces the draw that is lost when the headlights are removed. The kit mounts to the hood using the screws that previously held in the headlight, the resistor has a h13 light plug that plugs directly into the headlight harness. You must make sure all wiring is keep away from the resistor, they get extremely hot.
If running our headlight delete with built in lights (halogen lights) you need not, and cannot run this kit it will overload your system. Running LEDS do not replace the load on your system and are safe to use with this kit.
